Earthsearch II: Deathship, written by James Follett, is a classic science fiction audio drama and the sequel to the original Earthsearch. It originally aired in 1982 and continues the story of the starship Challenger and its human crew.
Set in the far future, Earthsearch II picks up after the events of the first series. The four young crew members—Telson, Sharna, Darv, and Astra—are continuing their quest to find Earth, their legendary home planet, which has mysteriously vanished from known space. They are guided (and sometimes misled) by two sentient onboard computers, Angel One and Angel Two, who have their own hidden agendas.
